A loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend. Our Joan passed away suddenly but peacefully in bed on the 30th of June leaving a big hole in our hearts. Joan had many hobbies throughout her life, such as wimbledon, crosswords, card games and so on, but it was her love for flowers trees and all things living that was always at the top of her list. Joan requested no flowers at all for when the day came, she believed flowers were for the living, therefore in keeping with her wishes we have instead requested donations to Joan's Breath of Life Fund founded by The British Lung Foundation, in order to raise enough money to plant a tree in her name. The British Lung Foundation offer great support and research into lung disease and their aim is to make sure that one day everyone will breathe clean air with healthy lungs. As Joan had been diagnosed with COPD, had also lost her husband to lung cancer, and has family who also suffer with COPD, we couldnt think of a better organisaion to raise money for in her name. Please help us reach our target, no amount is too small. We sincerely appreciate every single donation. Thank You x
